A neighborhood of people who care how things look

The Design District is showrooms, galleries, design studios, furniture and lighting trade, architects and the agencies that work alongside them. It is a demanding place to be a printer, in the best sense: our customers here look at print for a living and notice the things most people do not.

That shows up in what gets ordered. Fewer flyers, more considered pieces. Substantial stock rather than the cheapest option. Finishes that feel like something. Signage that is designed rather than assembled, and installed where it will actually be seen.

Being on the same street helps

Most of this work is collected, and plenty of it is discussed in person before it is ordered. If you want to see a stock before committing, hold a finish against your artwork, or check a color against a sample you already have, you can walk it over. That is a genuine advantage of using the shop in your own neighborhood rather than uploading a file and hoping.

For showroom work in particular — window graphics, wall applications, large-format pieces — it also means we can look at the surface before we print for it, which prevents most of the problems that show up on installation day.
