Foam board (also called foam core) is the go-to solution for indoor temporary signage. Lightweight, rigid, and printed directly onto the surface for a smooth matte finish. At AlphaGraphics Dallas, we use flatbed UV printers for photo-quality output that won’t peel.

Frequently Asked Questions
Foam board has a paper face and is more susceptible to denting. Gatorboard has a wood-fiber veneer face which makes it more rigid and dent-resistant. Foam board is more economical; Gatorboard is for long-term display.
Yes. The paper face works great with markers, pens, and pencils—ideal for “Big Checks” or interactive boards.
Use 3M Command™ Strips, double-sided tape, or Velcro. They also sit well on standard easels. Avoid drilling holes unless you add hardware.
Standard turnaround is 1–2 business days. Dallas pickup is often next day. Ask us about rush options.
